I am pleased to welcome you to the Dr. Ballesta Laparoscopic Center (Centro Laparoscópico del Dr. Ballesta, CLB) and I invite you to find out more about us. The Dr. Ballesta Laparoscopic Center is the result of a merger with the Laparoscopic Center of Barcelona along with the addition of new personnel and technology in order to provide  comprehensive care for the disease or condition under treatment.

Dr. Ballesta Laparoscopic Centeris a high-tech medical complex that features a group of pioneering laparoscopic surgeons with extensive experience in general and gastrointestinal surgery.

We have equipped the Dr. Ballesta Laparoscopic Center with the most modern and advanced technology to perform more complex surgeries using the laparoscopic technique.

To achieve this, we have created a state-of-the-art environment as prestigious and well known as the Teknon Medical Center, and centered on providing private, quality care that's modern.

With this we believe that the Dr. Ballesta Laparoscopic Center will meet the health needs of today's society.

The vast experience of the medical team that I direct includes thousands of operations in abdominal and gastrointestinal laparoscopic surgery, as well as a strong educational emphasis that is embodied through the organization of multiple courses in laparoscopic surgery, which in turn have served as training for other surgeons from Spain and elsewhere.

Our results are supported by videos and articles published in the most prestigious surgical journals(American Journal of Surgery, Surgical Endoscopy, Surgery Video-Magazine, etc.) and presented at major international conferences.

The Dr. Ballesta Laparoscopic Center has been assessed by the AEC (European Accreditation Committee) of the IFSO (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity), giving it the distinction of a Center of Excellence in Obesity Surgery.
